Ciara Shares Excitement for the New Year in Upbeat 2022 Recap Video

The singer is ready for all the 'blessings' to come her way in 2023.

Ciara is welcoming 2023 with open arms. 

The pop sensation, 37, shared a highlight reel recounting all of the special moments that occurred in 2022 a few days after celebrating the New Year–and she can't wait to see what this year has in store for her.

The commemorative video shared to Instagram on Jan. 4 was set to the tune of Ciara's new song "Winning" featuring Big Freedia–which she only debuted on Dec. 31, during Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve–and featured photos and videos of her favorite memories from the past year; including her covers on Sports Illustrated and Women's Health, as well as snippets of family bonding time with husband, Russell Wilson, and her three kidsWin Harrison Wilson, 2, Sienna Princess Wilson, 5, and Future Zahir, 8, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé, rapper Future.


"2022 was a good year! Excited to walk into my blessings in 2023 🤟🏽," the singer wrote in the caption.

Fans and friends of the star celebrated her energy, with Big Freedia leaving three red heart emojis on the singer's post. 

"WE WINNING," later commented artist Theron Theron.

One fan gushed, "Loooove being a supporter of yours!!!!! 2023 is ready for you Queen!!!! 😭😭🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾"

"You winning Sis and so is the entire Wilson Family❤️," another fan cheered.

Ciara returned to the New Year's Rockin' Eve stage for her fifth year hosting at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. She also performed a few songs for the audience during the annual countdown event, including her new song "Winning" and other hits, "Jump" featuring Coast Contra and "Better Thangs" featuring Summer Walker

Many curious fans took to the comments to ask about the status of her new music, one writing, "When is the song dropping," and another inquiring, "Omgg is this banger out yet ?! 😍❤️." 

And the answer is no, not yet–but we can't wait for it to be blasting in our cars!
