Ciara and Russell Wilson Remake That Iconic Jay-Z and Beyoncé Portrait for Halloween

All week long, celebrities have been sharing their creative Halloween costumes on Instagram. Highlights so far include Cindy Crawford as a disco diva, Cardi B as a sexy nurse, and Nina Dobrev as the infamous Chanel show crasher. But Ciara and Russell Wilson may have just outdone them all: the couple paid homage to Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s “Apeshit” music video today.

The original music video, released last year, saw the Carters giving fans both an art and history lesson. Filmed at the Louvre in Paris, the video featured Beyoncé and Jay-Z wearing showstopping looks that were as spectacular as the art surrounding them. One of the most memorable moments from the video was the duo standing in front of the Mona Lisa painting both in pastel suiting, Bey in a pink suit by Peter Pilotto and Jay-Z in a mint double-breasted style.

For Ciara and Wilson’s take, they appeared to be re-wearing the exact outfits (or stellar recreations), right down to the blinding jewels. The only major switch-up? Instead of standing in front of the famed Leonardo da Vinci painting, the couple swapped it out for a photo of Barack and Michelle Obama.
