First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls: We invite you to join us at any of our services. The Downtown campus, 1200 Ninth Street, will host their Blended Worship with Choir, Praise Team and Orchestra on Sundays at 8:15 a.m. Contemporary Worship is offered at both 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. The West Campus, 4317 Barnett Road, has Contemporary Services at 9:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. each Sunday. The Church at Sheppard, 2101 Puckett, will offer Contemporary Services at 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. Life Groups are available for every age each Sunday. Sunday morning services are broadcast live over CFNT, cable channel 10 or over the air on 20.1 or 24.1 each Sunday at 8:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. Services are also streamed over our website as well as our Facebook page.
First Christian Church, 3701 Taft Boulevard, 940-692-2282, www.firstchristianwf.com: Sunday morning worship: 8:40 a.m. in the chapel and 10:45 a.m. in the sanctuary or watch the service on our website or YouTube anytime. Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. bring a brown bag supper, enjoy fellowship (along with kid-friendly options for our young friends) at 5:30 p.m., followed at 6 p.m. by a casual service.
First Presbyterian Church, 3601 Taft Blvd.: At worship this Sunday morning, September 3, Rev. Michael Hansen, Senior Pastor of the Church, will continue the sermon series focused on Jesus’ teachings on the kingdom of God from the Gospel of Matthew. His sermon is titled “A Kingdom for the Poor in Spirit” and is based upon Matthew 5:3. The Congregation will receive the Lord’s Supper together.A new Small Group will begin this fall. It will be held on the first and third Sundays of each calendar month beginning on September 17 and continuing until December 17. This is a time for community, prayer and Scripture reflection based on the prior Sunday’s sermon. Children are welcome. If you are interested in joining this or another group or hosting your own small group, please contact Rev. Hansen at the Church office.Adults in the congregation are invited to join together this fall for the “Practicing the Way” series. It will be held in Fellowship Hall, each Sunday until September 17, between 9:30 and 10:15 A.M. The series is comprised of 2 four-week studies, the first of which focused on the Sabbath. A digital guide of the study can be found on the Church’s website. Those interested should RSVP to the Church office or on the Church’s website.The Church will hold a “Newcomers Lunch and Membership Presentation” for lunch on September 10 and September 17. Newcomers are encouraged to join Pastor Michael Hansen for lunch and an overview of the Church’s beliefs and missions and what it means to become a covenant partner (member) of the Church. Please RSVP on the Church’s website or contact the Church office.Children and preschool (potty trained) through 5th grade are invited to participate in a special Sunday School program for this age group. This year the group will focus on grasping God’s plan for redemption through Jesus with “The Biggest Story Ever Told.” Through interactive lessons on Biblical stories, children will realize and understand our need for Jesus. New Hope Presbyterian Church, 1701 Enterprise, 940-767-2527: Worship service at 10 Sunday morning. The choir will be singing Bless This House. Fellowship time and Christian Education following the worship service.
Mount Pleasant Baptist Church: All members are asked to use the Harding Street entrance, face masks are optional. If you can't make the service, the deacons will be available on the Bailey Street side of the church 30 minutes after service if you would like to contribute to the tithes, offering and receive the Lord's Supper.
