After mastering time travel, Lloyd checked out a galaxy far, far away.

Christopher Lloyd finally addressed his highly-applauded cameo in The Mandalorian.

Lloyd surprised fans of the Star Wars series when he popped up on their screens last week, portraying Commissioner Helgait in season three, episode six of the Disney+ original.

Now, a week later, the actor opened up about his experience filming for the series, revealing what an honor and pleasure it was to join the cast in a statement shared on social media.

"Great Scott! Traveling through space and time has led me to a galaxy far, far away," he exclaimed in a tweet shared on April 11.

Lloyd's recent statement also included a note of gratitude for all those that helped to make his special appearance happen.

"Thank you to the incredible @themandalorian community for the warm embrace," he added. "It was an honor to join this iconic franchise and be a part of the force."

Those who follow the actor on Twitter may recall he teased, "Hi @starwars💫⚡️," followed by, "- Commissioner Helgait," a day before the premiere.

In the days since his cameo, he has shared a few more riddles and behind-the-scenes photos from the set–including one with Bryce Dallas Howard–but hadn't really talked about it, until now, anyway.

Lloyd, who is most well known for his role as Dr. Emmett Brown (or just "Doc") in the 1985 hit Back to the Future and its subsequent spin-offs, also famously played Judge Doom in the 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Uncle Fester in The Addams Family movie (1991) and its 1993 sequel, Addams Family Values.

He has since made a handful of other on-screen appearances this year. In fact, just this year, he appeared in ABC's A Million Little Things and a full-length feature, titled Self Reliance.

Season three of The Mandalorian is currently available on Disney+, with new episodes dropping every Wednesday.
