Christmas Comes into Full Color in Hallmark's 'Where Are You, Christmas?'

Where Are You, Christmas?

It can be difficult to find an original idea among Christmas movies. I mean, how many Christmas-loving European bachelor princes are there that decide to shirk their royal duties to live incognito in the U.S. only to fall in love with a working class girl who has no idea who he really is? With over a hundred new holiday movies made every year, you're likely to repeat an idea or two. Hallmark Channel's latest Countdown to Christmas movie puts a spin on how we see Christmas—or at least how our main character sees Christmas after she wishes the holiday away and finds her whole world literally in black and white.

Here's everything we know about Where Are You, Christmas?, including a Parade.com exclusive colorful sneak peek.

What is Where Are You, Christmas? about?

In this charming Christmas movie, marketing exec Addy (Lyndsy Fonseca) has lost her Christmas spirit after having to market the holiday year round. She reluctantly returns to her hometown to spend the holidays with her family amid the town’s over-the-top celebrations. When her parents question her life choices, Addy makes a Big-style wish and wishes Christmas did not to exist. After Addy blacks out after her car veers off the road, she wakes up in a world of black and white, devoid of any color—her wish came true and she’s the only one who remembers Christmas. The town’s mechanic, Hunter (Michael Rady), helps her after the accident and she unknowingly stirs up a meaningful memory of Christmas within him that brings him back into full color. Addy doesn’t understand why she has not turned back to color, but puts that concern on the backburner as she and Hunter work together to try and spread Christmas cheer to help the rest of the town return to color.
