Now that Netflix has finally dropped The Christmas Chronicles 2, there’s only one thing on our mind: Will there be a Christmas Chronicles 3?
PureWow recently sat down for an interview with the franchise’s star Darby Camp (Kate Pierce), who shared exclusive details about the highly anticipated sequel. Although Netflix hasn’t officially announced a third movie, the 13-year-old actress admitted that she’s hopeful about reuniting with Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn and the rest of the cast for round three.
“I would be interested in doing a third one,” she told PureWow. “I would love to get to work with everybody again.”
So, what would The Christmas Chronicles 3 be about? Camp didn’t give away too many details, but that’s probably because she doesn’t know any. However, the Big Little Lies star did have one request if Netflix decides to do another movie.
“If we get a third one, I would really love to see [Kate] actually drive the sleigh on her own,” she explained.
Camp revealed that while Kate rode in Santa’s sleigh, she’s never been able to drive it like some of the other characters. How rude?!
“I noticed in the first and the second one that Kate never got to drive the sleigh,” she continued. “She’s ridden in the sleigh, but she’s never gotten to drive the sleigh—like actually hold the reins and go, ‘On Dasher! On Dancer!’”
