Christmas 2020: How Celebrities are Celebrating the Holiday This Year

Christmas 2020 may not have been what many expected this year as COVID-19 has forced us to be away from our loved ones this holiday season, but Christmas definitely wasn't cancelled. In fact, tons of celebrities are made the most of it by celebrating the holiday at home with their families.

Gigi Hadid didn't let the pandemic put an end to her annual gingerbread house traditions and Lizzo spread some Christmas cheer by sharing a video via Instagram of herself singing Mariah Carey's classic, “All I Want for Christmas Is You."

As for the rest of our fave celebs, they're also not letting these unprecedented times ruin the magic of Christmas. Here's how all the biggest stars are spending Christmas 2020.

Ariana Grande

The newly-engaged pop star spent Christmas with her family, posting pictures to her Instagram Stories of herself and her mother, Joan, preparing a meal together, per People. In a series of polaroids, Grande also posed with her brother, Frankie, and her new fiancée, Dalton Gomez.

On Twitter, the positions singer wished all her followers the “warmest, coziest, healthiest holiday possible this year.”

Céline Dion

In a rare family photo, the “My Heart Will Go On” singer posed with her three sons in matching pajamas in front of the tree. “May this holiday season bring all of you the gifts of love, peace, good health, and the promise of brighter days in the New Year ahead! 🎄✨ ❤️ - Celine xx…” Canadian Dion wrote in English and French, looking happy and relaxed.

Kristin Cavallari

The former star of Very Cavallari kept things “Very Merry Merry” instead, spending time with her three children at home. This is Cavallari's first Christmas since her split from husband Jay Cutler, and People reports that, per their custody agreement, Cavallari and Cutler will each take the kids for part of the day on holidays.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian spent Christmas at sister Kourtney's house in a very interesting green gown.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

The royal couple, who recently released what is arguably one of their cutest Christmas cards to date, are reportedly spending the holidays in California with Markle's mom, Doria Ragland, and their 19-month-old son Archie.

Sources told People the Sussexes and Cambridges sent one another Christmas presents ahead of the holiday, adding that gifts were also sent “back and forth between the entire royal family.”

Gigi Hadid

The supermodel, who welcomed her first child with boyfriend Zayn Malik in September, got into the festive spirit this holiday season by making gingerbread houses with her family.
