Christine Romans is signing off from CNN.

On Friday, July 28, the TV anchor, who has been the face of Early Start since 2014, announced to viewers that she was ending her tenure on the show and at the news network.

“It has been a pleasure waking up early for you for so many years to get your morning started,” Romans shared with her early morning viewers on Friday. “I love CNN dearly. I have loved my 24 year run here. 24 years, right? But I have decided I am ready for a new chapter. I am full gratitude for my CNN family. It is a family. Everybody here are my friends. And I am excited for the challenges ahead.”

As she continued, she confirmed that she was "moving on from CNN," but plans to still be a viewer. She quipped, "I just won't have an alarm set for 2:30 in the morning."

It didn't take long for fans of the journalist to express their well wishes. One viewer wrote on Twitter, "Gonna miss ya, Christine! Always enjoyed watching your segments."

Another chimed in, "I’m wishing you all the best. Can’t wait to see where you pop up next."
