Congratulations are in order for Selling Sunset's Christine Quinn and her husband, Christian Richard, as they've welcomed their first child into the world together – and from Christine's recent description it sounds as though the birth of their son was certainly eventful.

The little one, who is named Christian Georges Dumontet after his father, arrived just two days after Christine attended the MTV Movie and TV Awards. Real estate boss Christine said of the birth, "It was a giant gush of fluid, just like in the movies. I wrapped a towel around my waist and off we went to the hospital."

In less than an hour, Christine recalls, she had been taken into theatre for an emergency caesarean. "Twenty-two minutes later, Baby C was born via emergency c-section performed by Dr Steve A. Rad," she explained. "He was incredible under the pressure and complexity of the situation."

She then joked, "Baby C was very eager to make his appearance in this world and in a dramatic fashion... he got that from his mommy."

Thankfully, Christine and both Christians are all said to be doing well, with Christine praising her husband for being so calm throughout the unexpected delivery. "He was very calm throughout the whole process," she shared with PEOPLE. "One day I might share more about what happened, but for right now, I am humbled and grateful that three of us came home from the hospital."

It sounds as though she has already more than settled into motherhood, as Christine also described seeing her baby as "the most magical moment of my life" and said meeting him was nothing short of surreal. "I can't believe that we created this little miracle," she added.

Christine was also incredibly candid with her fans throughout her pregnancy, discussing the food cravings she'd been having and some other side effects she'd experienced, such as occasionally feeling nauseous.

"I didn't have a lot of sickness and I'm so grateful for that. It's been pretty much the same routine," she again told PEOPLE. "Obviously, eating's a little bit different and I want different things at different times and I'm like, 'Go get a pizza right now,' stuff like that. But for the most part, I've been sticking to my routine and it's been great."

Welcome to the world, little Christian (and we hope your recovery is a smooth and speedy one, Christine). ❤️
