Christina Ricci turned 44 yesterday, and her 2-year-old daughter Cleo celebrated in the cutest way. The toddler got her mom a sweet birthday surprise, and the video will make your heart melt.
The Yellowjackets star’s husband Mark Hampton shared a video of their daughter on Instagram, with a heartwarming caption. “Happy birthday to my absolute dream,” he said. “I love you so much, hate having to leave on your birthday. I Wouldn’t ride this rock without you. #wifeyforlifey @riccigrams ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥.”

Cute Cleo
Cleo is the star of the short video, dressed in floral-print pajamas. She has a bouquet of small balloons in one hand, which are all attached to long sticks to make them easier to hold. In her other hand, she drags another set of balloons, this time regular sized with long strings. She walks through the house, dragging the birthday balloons behind her and babbling in a language only toddlers understand. As she navigates toys strewn about the living room (relatable!), she accidentally knocks over a gift bag. “Oh no, present!” she cutely says, as she leans over to pick it back up. She is so stinkin’ cute, we just know her mama felt all the love on her birthday.
“Love you so much ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️,” the Wednesday star commented on the sweet video. She also shared the clip to her Instagram story, writing, “I have a great husband ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥.”
“The cutest little birthday balloon buddy 🙌,” another person wrote. Someone else commented, “Awww can Cleo be any more adorable!!! 😍Happy Birthday Christina 🎉🎉🎉 @riccigrams.”

Hampton shared another video of Cleo on his Instagram story. This time, she’s sitting in a highchair with a plate covered in dots of paint and a paper. She’s using her finger to scoop some paint out and spread it over the red paper in a cute toddler craft, and she looks just like a young Wednesday Addams (so, just like her mama’s twin).
“Try pink one, dada!” she says in the video. Cleo then shows her dad her two pointy fingers, one with pink paint and one with green.
“Which one are you trying?” the celebrity hair stylist asks.
“Green one! Pink one!” she says, while admiring her fingers. She then gives a cute smile and shrug and continues finger painting. She is adorable!
Mom Duty
Despite being a supportive husband, Hampton also has his quirks. Ricci, who is also mom to son Freddie, 9, with ex James Heerdegen, gave an update on her Instagram story about a special project her husband left her when he went out of town.
“My husband who I love went away for a week and left me with the kids which is fine but right before he left he made a habitat for caterpillars turning into butterflies,” she wrote over a picture of said habitat. “So now I also have to make sure these idiots don’t die.”
That’s a lot of work when you already have to take care of the kids full time! Ricci added, “I have to check on them and make sure to release them within 36hrs of hatching or else they will.”
Yikes! Ricci better stay on guard, otherwise she’ll have some very disappointed kids. Oh well, maybe she could share her birthday balloons to cheer them up!
