Christina Hendricks Is 'Pure Elegance' in Sparkling Gown With Plunging Neckline

Christina Hendricks always seems to set the bar one step higher each time she dresses up for a Hollywood event, with the actress exuding glam elegance as she attended the Motion Picture & Television Fund’s 17th annual Evening Before benefit on Saturday, Jan. 13.
The Buccaneers actress shared photos from the star-studded event, which is supposed to be a celebratory gathering before the Emmys each year, as she donned a sparkling tan gown with tiered ruffles and a plunging V neckline. Hendricks went for a relaxed updo for her hair, paired with a bright red lip.
"The #eveningbefore the Emmys party, which is ….. not the evening before this year…..," wrote Hendricks. "is always so nice to see old friends. Got to hug and kiss so many . Thank you @mptf and @jonandvinnydelivery was soooooo delicious."
Although fans didn't get to see a photo, there was also a little Mad Men reunion at the event, as January Jones, who starred as Betty Francis opposite Hendricks' Joan Harris, commented, "So happy I got to give you a squeeze last night beauty ❤️."
Retta, who starred with Hendricks in Good Girls, also wrote under the actress' update that she "loved this dress on you. 😍."
"What an angelic look 😍," wrote a fan just as in awe of Hendricks' fashion, with another proclaiming, "That dress!! Wow! Absolutely gorgeous! 🥰."
"Pure elegance," wrote a third.
The Evening Before event raised money for industry professionals and their families who need help with finances, counseling, caregiving and more, especially after the double strike last year. Along with the fun Mad Men reunion, actors from hit shows like The White Lotus, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Succession and Ted Lasso also gathered together at the event.
Next up, the stars will be together once again on Monday, Jan. 15, for the long-awaited Emmy Awards as the 2024 awards season continues.
