Her birth name is Christina Meursinge Haack.

The HGTV star was born as Christina Meursinge Haack. She grew up in California's Orange County and attended a local college in Southern California before becoming a real estate agent.

She originally wanted to be a sports agent.

Christina didn't always have her heart set on real estate. In 2020, shortly after her split with second husband Ant Anstead, she shared her journey to the career path on Instagram while posting a car selfie to reintroduce herself to her followers. Part of the lengthy caption read: "I never thought about being on tv. I wanted to be a sports agent like Jerry Maguire. But I always loved looking at houses with my parents especially model homes and I always wanted to be my own boss… So in college when I was called (intuitively) to get my real estate license at a local community college I followed my intuition. I got started in real estate at 21 which led to selling houses which led to flipping houses which led to Tv. Now while I never wanted to be on tv, stepping out of my comfort zone and into the unknown has always been my thing."

She went on to explain that her anxiety pushes her to pursue dreams sometimes and leaves her "feeling lost and in a state of fight or flight" others. She added that she never expected to have one divorce, let alone two. To end the caption, she stated that she's messy, real, and working on healing. Luckily, she has plenty of supporters and powerful women to build her up and push her to be better.

Her net worth is estimated to be $25 million.

As far as HGTV stars go, Christina certainly has one of the biggest estimated net worths. According to Celebrity Net Worth, hers is $25 million. For comparison, the site places Tarek El Moussa's estimated net worth at $15 million, Hilary Farr's at $8 million, and Alison Victoria's at $3 million. Among the other top estimated net worths are Drew and Jonathan Scott's combined $200 million and Joanna Gaines's $50 million.

Her zodiac sign is Cancer.

Christina's July 9 birthdate makes her sun sign a Cancer. According to Co-Star, an astrology resource, a Cancer is often "sensitive, seeks comfort, forgives but never forgets, takes on other people's problems, and only has one boundary, but it's very firm."

She’s into crystals.

Christina has been known to display crystals all over her house, specifically amethysts. She's been into crystals ever since she was a kid, thanks to her neighbor who used to bring over large geodes and crack them open for her. "It was cool as a kid, because you never knew what they were going to look like on the inside," she told House Beautiful in 2019. "I’m sort of an anti-hoarder—constantly giving items away—but crystals have been the only thing I've ever collected and saved since childhood."

She’s had a health scare.

In December 2022, Christina learned that she had mercury and lead poisoning in her body. "Most likely from all the gross houses I've been in (the bad flips) and I have small intestine bacteria overgrowth," she shared on her Instagram Story, according to E! News. "So we are first detoxing all of this through herbs and IVs and then see how I feel and tackle the implants."

Christina had previously wondered if her breast implants were the cause of her health scare. A few weeks after announcing the illness, she told E! News that she was feeling better while doing a cleanse and supplement detox, eating clean, and "doing hyperbaric chambers and IVs." At the time, she also shared that she had scheduled some appointments to discuss getting her implants removed. That was in January 2023, and she hasn't confirmed if she plans to do so since.

She has at least one tattoo.

In January 2021, Christina shared an image of her back tattoo on Instagram. Running along her neck and down her spine, the tattoo reads "still I rise" in a cursive font. It's a reference to a poem by Maya Angelou, which she quoted in the caption: "Just like moons and like suns, / With the certainty of tides, / Just like hopes springing high, / Still I'll rise."

She has a sister.

Christina is an older sibling. She has a sister named Carly Haack, who is 10 years younger than she is. While Christina doesn't often share photos of her sister, she did recently dedicate an Instagram Story in honor of Carly's 30th birthday in August 2023. She wrote, "Happy 30th Birthday to my beautiful, fun, free-spirited sister!"

She’s a mother of three.

Christina has three children: Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8, with her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, and Hudson, 4, with her ex-husband Ant Anstead. Taylor and Brayden often make appearances on her HGTV shows, and Hudson can be spotted in sweet family photos on her Instagram.

She’s married to Josh Hall.

Christina's love life has been under the spotlight for more than a decade. After divorcing Tarek, then Ant, Christina married her current husband Josh Hall. They've been together since at least March 2021, and they tied the knot in a private ceremony in April 2022. The duo started a production company called Unbroken Productions, which helps produce Christina's HGTV shows. Josh often makes appearances in episodes, whether he's helping her build their own backyard spa or visiting a pet whisperer.

She’s a dog lover.

Christina has a French bulldog named Cash, who came into her life as a puppy in 2017. After marrying Josh, she also embraced his dog of around nine years, cancer survivor Stella, into the fam. They love to take both pets to the beach for family bonding time.
