Christina Hall's Husband Surprises Her With an Iconic Champagne-Themed Birthday Party

Christina Hall's champagne dreams came true for her 40th birthday. The HGTV star celebrated the milestone at a party thrown by her husband, Josh Hall. The French-inspired event was brimming with bubbly and nods to Veuve Clicquot.
On July 8—a day before attending the Barbie movie premiere with Josh—Christina took to Instagram to share a photo of herself lounging in a circular display at her birthday party. It featured red, orange, and yellow florals and a yellow-and-white striped background with lettering that read: "Happy Birthday Christina." (And where the champagne bottle label says fondée en 1772, describing when the brand was founded, this custom backdrop references 1983, the year Christina was born.) The adorable display also included a custom Veuve Clicquot-inspired logo with "C40" on it, referring to her first initial and current age.
"Had the best 40th birthday celebration thanks to my husband and best friend," Christina captioned the post. "I walked into the most incredible party where they thought of everything and made all my champagne dreams come true 🥂🍾. "
She went on to describe how lucky she feels to have such caring people in her life. "Going into this new decade, my goal is to slow the f down," she wrote. "Enjoy the small moments and not rush through life. Take it easier on myself and mostly have fun and enjoy the ride. 🖤"
Fans and friends commented on the post including her ex, Tarek El Moussa. He wrote, "Happy birthday!!!!! Hope you had the best time."
Josh also commented on her post and shared a sweet message on his own Instagram. He captioned it: "This woman has accomplished so much, inspired so many, and continues to impress me daily. I can't say enough about what an absolute force she is and what she is capable of. Christina is about to make her 40s the best decade of her life and looking better than ever while doing it!"
He added, "I'm a lucky man and thank my lucky stars that she chose me to take this ride with her that is now our life. Ride or die baby, love you more than anything."
Event planner Sabrina Maldonado shared footage of the affair that captures the dreamy atmosphere. The party seemingly took place at the California home Christina shares with Josh. The decor boasted a strong color palette tied to Veuve Clicquot, and every detail enhanced the theme. There were custom throw pillows, delicate desserts, and over-the-top balloon displays. It's clear Christina is going into this new decade of her life in style. The chic party will surely be a tough one to top next year!
