Christina Hall's daughter Taylor isn't a wallpaper girl. In a new episode of Christina on the Coast, Taylor told her mom that she's outgrown the floral wallpaper in her bedroom. Definitely a cool mom, Christina agreed to redo Taylor's room to give it a modern look, plus functional upgrades.

At the beginning of the episode, Christina asked Taylor if she'd help her design a bedroom for her client's daughter. "On one condition," Taylor responded. "I get to redo my wallpaper. It’s so ugly, Mom."

The then 11-year-old admitted, "Okay, well it’s not ugly for like a 7-year-old." To that, her younger brother Brayden, 7, confirmed that he also doesn't like it. Taylor clarified, "It’s cute for a 7-year-old girl."

Christina knows where Taylor is coming from. "I had a flower wallpaper growing up, and so I understand," she said. "I wasn't super into it either."

The offending wallpaper in Taylor's bedroom was a mural-like display of large flowers growing out of the ground with a few butterflies throughout. Christina described the scene as one fit for a "mystical fairy," which Taylor declared she's no longer into.

Taylor requested a simple design along with a bulletin board and open shelving above her desk. Christina delivered, replacing the floral wallpaper with a white wall of chevron-style molding for a subtle, trellis-like look that brings dimension. She personalized the wall with Taylor's name in gold letters above the bed. Neutral bedding elevates the space while a swinging chair and a white fuzzy desk chair offer fun seating options. Bonus: A mini fridge for skincare and ice packs doubles as one of Taylor's nightstands.

Of course, the deal was that Taylor had to help Christina design her client's daughter's bedroom, which she did. That daughter likes unicorns, rainbows, crystals, and the color purple. She also requested bunk beds for sleepovers. Christina and Taylor decided to go with a mainly white design and purple accents, like amethyst crystals, so that she'll be less likely to grow out of the style. Taylor even gifted the daughter her big unicorn stuffed animal that she doesn't use anymore.

Christina and Taylor have gone on many design shopping trips together, and we're sure this collaboration won't be the last. Maybe they'll give Brayden the shark-themed bedroom he requested next?
