Christina El Moussa's Boyfriend Supportive of Show

Following their divorce, Flip or Flop's Christina and Tarek El Moussa appear to be getting along quite well these days (with the exception of that awkward first episode). Already this season, they've compromised on numerous design decisions, and Tarek even seems to approve of his ex-wife's new boyfriend, Ant Anstead. But how does Christina's British beau of seven months feel about the exes continuing to work together? As she told us recently, he gets it.

"I've been working with Tarek on this season since last June, I believe," Christina said. "So when we met, Ant knew I worked with Tarek. He'd never seen the show, but we talked about what I did."

Christina explained that Ant, as a TV personality himself on Velocity's Wheeler Dealers, is familiar with the uncomfortable aspects of the job, which include long hours and social media trolls. And he's just as patient when it comes to Christina's costar being her former husband and father of her two children.

"The fact that he totally understands is awesome," Christina continued. "It's amazing actually that we're able to work together and he's been nothing but supportive."

Not just supportive, but vocally supportive. When a follower commented on a picture of the couple asking, "Isn't it weird that she is still on TV with her ex?" Ant replied: "Not at all! What truly inspiring professionals they both are! Hats off to them."

Then, prior to the premiere, Ant posted a photo of Christina, writing: ""I can't tell you enough how inspiring this lady is!!! ... she (and Tarek) have tackled this series with an amazing attitude and professionalism. I'm so incredibly proud of her for rolling up her sleeves and cracking on! [Christina], you are a [unicorn] that demonstrates by doing, not talking! Great host! Great Mum and unbelievable girlfriend!"

Ant may have been unfamiliar with the HGTV show before he and Christina started dating, but now he's an avid viewer. The pair often shares snapshots on Instagram Stories that show them cozying up and watching together.

As for whether or not Ant would ever make an appearance on Flip or Flop, Christina said, "I wouldn't rule it out, but I'm not sure yet."
