Christina Aguilera Revealed Someone Predicted Her Daughter Summer’s Personality While She Was Pregnant

A beautiful prediction about Christina Aguilera’s daughter Summer Rain, 9, seems to have come true! The “Genie in a Bottle” singer told the story in a new interview with Vogue, and it’s actually so sweet.

“I was working with someone who predicted her birth to me, a very intuitive person, and she said, ‘You’re going to have a daughter, and she’s going to be your protector. She’s going to be on this earth to watch over you and protect and support you,’” Aguilera told Vogue in a new interview published this month.

Her initial reaction was just like “Oh, really?” at the time, but now she sees the truth in it. “And literally she’s embodying that, and it’s just the most beautiful…. I could cry thinking about it. I don’t want to cry today!” Aguilera said with a laugh, adding, “She marches to the beat of her own drum, and she’s just a little firecracker.”

It’s so cool that someone was able to predict Summer’s personality when she was still in the womb in such an eerily accurate way! Aguilera even shared how Summer protects her mom: by serving as her “daught-ager” — which is like Kris Jenner’s “mom-ager” but in reverse.

“She’s so enraptured by the world behind the scenes and the production of everything, and she loves the band and the background singers,” the “Learning to Fly” singer shared. “She wants to take drum lessons — she is about it. She gives me so much love and support. Before I go on stage, she knows I get nervous, and she’s like, ‘You’re going to do great, mama.’ My manager will be like, ‘She’s coming for my job!’”

Summer even told her dad, Aguilera’s fiancé Matt Rutler, “When I grow up, I want to either be mama’s photographer or mama’s manager.” How sweet is that?

Aguilera recently told will.i.am about her daughter’s support, and he called Summer a “daught-ager.”

“So daught-ager is the word of the year. It’s just so cute,” Aguilera continued in her interview with Vogue, explaining that Summer will even keep her mom on track if she’s running late for an appointment or meeting. “I’ve never felt so loved by probably anyone in my life as I do my little angel face. She’s just so supportive, such a light.”

Earlier this month, Aguilera shared photos from backstage her residency in Las Vegas, where they looked gorgeous in contrasting black and white coats. “Me & Mine ❄️,” she captioned the sweet post, with the photos edited in an old Hollywood glam style.

The pop singer, who is also mom to son Max, 16, with ex Jordan Bratman, captured a photo of Summer drawing a picture during rehearsal of her mom’s show in March. “It’s moments like these that truly make what I do worthwhile ❤️,” she wrote. “Making new memories around the world with my family and seeing my daughter capture her experiences in her own creative way has been the greatest reward 🎨✨.”
