Christie Brinkley Refuses to Let a Tropical Rainstorm Ruin Her Beach Day

The model appears to be making the best of some bad weather during her family beach vacation in Turks & Caicos.

Christie Brinkley isn't afraid of a little rain.

The 69-year-old model—who has recently been enjoying a sunny vacation in Turks & Caicos—ran into a little bit of gloomy weather this week, but she wasn't going to let anything rain on her beach day parade.

In a series of photos and videos shared to Instagram on Feb. 18, Brinkley was seen making the best of the rain, even while she was still dressed in her beach attire.

In some of the clips, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover star pulled her bike over to the side of the dirt road to dodge the rain, but that didn't stop her from reaching her hand out to feel the droplets. She wore a frilly white bathing suit with a bright blue mini-skirt over the bottoms, as well as a wide-brimmed hat for what was maybe hoped to be a sunny day.

"When it rains it pours!" she wrote in the caption, noting that the rainfall consisted of "surprisingly icy raindrops!"

Other slides in the carousel post showed Brinkley embracing the rain on the beach and capturing the dark, ominous clouds in the distance, as well as her daughter, Sailor, who stopped in for a visit. "Rain or shine I've always got sunshine on a cloudy day!" she added next to the post, giving video credits to her son, Jack.

Luckily, it hasn't been all-rain for Brinkley and her family, as she recently celebrated Valentine's Day from the sunny beaches of the islands, wearing a very festive red bikini and cover-up.

"❤️Hope everyone is feeling the LOVE‼️" she captioned the V-day snaps, which garnered a comment from Jack, who wrote, "I love you so much."

"Sexy," Sailor also chimed in.
