Twrhll, said Brinkley, “is inspired by my many years in fashion and the timeless style of my home, Towerhill. We aim to focus on inclusivity and fun fashion. I want to inspire women at any age and with any body type to confidently wear products that support their individual characteristics. Twrhll is a brand specifically tailored to these efforts and I am excited to connect personally with consumers across retail and livestream channels.”

“A modern women’s wardrobe, Twrhll by Christie Brinkley is inspired by Christie’s favorite pieces from her personal closet, designed for women of every age and every body type,” said Ken Downing, the chief creative officer of Xcel Brands.

“The collection is pure Christie Brinkley’s style, classics with a twist and a sense of artistry,” Downing added. “Christie brings her love of her garden, her home, her travels and her overall zest for life to feminine pieces that mix and match, can be worn day to night and let women confidently express their personal style.”

“Christie is an icon, whose timeless elegance remains at the forefront of fashion,” stated Robert W. D’Loren, chairman and chief executive officer of Xcel Brands.

Xcel owns the Judith Ripka, Halston, Logo by Lori Goldstein and C. Wonder by Christian Siriano brands and a minority stake in the Isaac Mizrahi brand. It also owns and manages the Longaberger brand through its controlling interest in Longaberger Licensing LLC. Xcel designs, produces, and markets branded apparel, footwear, accessories, fine jewelry, home goods and other consumer products. The company sells its brands through interactive television, digital livestream shopping, social commerce, brick-and-mortar retail, and e-commerce. Xcel indicated that its brands have generated in excess of $4 billion in retail sales via livestreaming in interactive television and digital channels alone.

Brinkley’s businesses include skin care, a hair extension collection and an organic prosecco line. The 69-year-old Brinkley has appeared on more than 500 magazine covers, had a 25-year contract with CoverGirl, and is among the most famous models in history, appearing multiple times in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues as well as on numerous fashion titles. Her first acting role was in “National Lampoon’s Vacation,” playing the girl in the red Ferrari cameo, which she reprised in the “Vegas Vacation” sequel. She also hosted Lifetime’s “Celebrity Weddings in Style,” among other TV appearances and roles.
