Christie Brinkley, 68, Is Rockin' Mega-Toned Legs In A Swimsuit On IG

It may still be the middle of January, but Christie Brinkley is giving everyone some major swimsuit inspo in her latest Instagram post. The model, 68, shared a photo dump of swimsuit pics from her New Year's trip to Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos. In the pics, she's rocking a belted red one-piece swimsuit that's accessorized with a red shawl and cowboy hat. Of course, the whole thing shows off just how super toned her legs are these days.

Besides looking healthy and strong, Christie also shared all the details on how she is taking care of her mind, body and spirit, and also sharing her advice with her followers.

"Make time for yourself… get out of the house, take a walk around town, through the woods or down a beach. Ride your bike, go to the gym. Relax, breath and let your mind wander. Laugh with friends!" she wrote in the caption.

Christie also explained how massages are a crucial part of her self-care, and how she needed to have two because she was "stiff as a board… I was ready for a shoulder replacement and my neck was so tight I could hardly turn my head! Two massages later… I feel like a new person with a new neck and shoulder!"

She added that although she used to think of massage as a luxury, they truly help her feel better. "In the right hands, it’s therapeutic, healing and energizing! And if you can’t get to a massage, get a roller and carve out some time to really roll out the knots so your energy flows!" she wrote.

Besides massages, Christie is also spending time getting active on her vacation, and shared a video of herself rocking the same red one-piece while enjoying some time on her bike.

"Besides getting exercise, you just see so much more when you ride a bike…even your own neighborhood comes alive on a bike!" she shared.

When it comes to her workouts, Christie makes no secret of her love of getting moving. The supermodel previously told Women’s Health that she also enjoys taking spin classes. “I love spin instructors,” she said. “Yeah, sometimes you need a little drill sergeant to inspire you and keep you going.”

Plus, she loves to stay active with gardening.

Christie also eats a mostly plant-based diet, and defines her eating style as "lacto-ovo". “Over the years, I've been a vegan, I've been a macrobiotic, I’ve been a lacto-ovo," she said in a 2018 interview with The Cut. "The one constant...was that I haven't eaten any red meat or fowl."

And she also discourages dieting. "I have always encouraged my readers, friends and family to think of food as fuel and I promoted eating a colorful organic vegetarian or vegan rainbow diet for maximum nutrition," Christie shared an Instagram post in November 2022. "And I discouraged dieting or as I call it 'deny-eating' and urged you instead to gift your body with healthy choices that will heal and benefit you."
