Christian Louboutin Blooms in Rose-Topped Loafers at Golden Globes 2024

Christian Louboutin brought a burst of dynamic style — with a dapper twist — to the Golden Globe Awards.
While attending the Golden Globes in Los Angeles on Sunday, Louboutin arrived in a pair of his namesake brand’s loafers. Hailing from his 2023 “Flamencaba” collaboration with Rossy de Palma, the designer’s Dandyflor style featured a slip-on loafer silhouette crafted from shiny black lamé fabric, overlaid with an orange, gold and green floral pattern.

Louboutin’s footwear earned a blossoming edge from its dynamic accents — large, shimmering red roses, complete with crystal-embellished petals for a glittering finish. His signature red soles completed the pair with an added pop of color.
The style added a burst of drama to Louboutin’s dapper ensemble for the occasion: a deep navy tuxedo, complete with silky black pointed lapels and a matching cummerbund. The FNAA-winning designer’s attire was complete with a gold-buttoned white shirt and black bowtie, as well as accessories including clear-rimmed sunglasses, a thin gold metal bracelet and a leather bracelet strung with bright red beads.
Louboutin’s appearance at the Golden Globes marked his first major red carpet outing in 2024. The occasion followed a landmark year for the designer in 2023, where he launched four footwear collections — including his 30th-anniversary line — and a collaborative capsule with Marvel.
The Golden Globe Awards celebrate the top performances across film and television. This year’s ceremony is hosted by comedian Jo Koy and features a star-studded afterparty presented by Billboard and Rémy Martin. Viewers can watch the Golden Globes live on CBS and stream on Paramount+. Ahead of the ceremony, WWD will host its first real-time red carpet digital show, hosted by Jeannie Mai highlighting the looks from the red carpet arrivals. On Monday, WWD will reveal the winners of its Style Awards during the red carpet recap on wwd.com/golden-globes at 10 a.m. ET.
