Chrissy Teigen Said She's Dyeing Her Hair Purple Soon

Well, folks, it's looking like Chrissy Teigen may ditch her signature bronde hair for a shade that's decidedly more colorful: purple. The model and cookbook author has been experimenting with different hair colors using Instagram's Cabelo Colorido Filter while on vacation with her family, and it seems that doing so has ultimately convinced her to try out a high-voltage lilac hue when she gets home.

Teigen shared the news via a selfie video on her Instagram grid in which she's sporting the vibrant purple hair color, as well as gems on her forehead. The caption reads: "well I absolutely have to do this when I get home. I swear I'm okay! I realize this looks like I’m having a crisis lol I just wanna start looking the way I've always wanted to!!"

She then followed up in the comment section with a message that reads, "Important: If I do this, I’m not gonna go all sporty, I wanna still wear my boyfriend blazers and cami's and skinny ass jeans and be a working ass tailored boss bitch who happens to have pink hair."

Of course, fans were quick to chime in with their thoughts on the star's potential new hair color. Scroll through the comments and you'll find messages like: "Love u for saying that lol Ur gorge. Live👏🏽 your👏🏽 best👏🏽 life 👏🏽🙌🏼❤️," "It’s the roaring 20’s 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 DO YOU BOO," and "Loves it! 💕💕😍💕💕." Fellow celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens, Paris Hilton, and Lisa Rinna all encouraged Teigen to go for it.

Now, we'll just have to wait and see if she ends up going through with it, but it would definitely be a fun way to kick off the new year, that's for sure.
