Chrissy Teigen Said John Legend Is ‘Like A Brother' To Her In A Hilarious Anniversary Post
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are proof-positive that people express their love in very different ways. For example, John writes adorable songs about how much he adores Chrissy and Chrissy...finds ways to lovingly dunk on her husband whenever given the chance. Case in point, Chrissy and John recently celebrated their anniversary and her post wasn't exactly what you'd expect...or maybe it was exactly what you would expect if you know Chrissy.
The Cravings author posted a video of daughter Luna and son Miles, with Luna exclaiming "happy anniversary!" to her parents. Chrissy's caption starts off very nice and veers off into strange territory: "Happy 7th anniversary! 14 years together! @johnlegend love u buddy. My best pal. You’re like a brother to me!!" she wrote.
As someone with the exact same love language (I frequently refer to my fiancé simply as my "friend," which I find very funny), I totally get this type of joke, though it's safe to say her friends, fans, and even John were more than a little confused: "The first husband friendzoned I ever seen," one person wrote. "Lmao not youre like a brother to me," another fan wrote. "Thank you?" John wrote.

For his part, John shared the anniversary feast of Spanish tapas he was making for Chrissy. He even used one of the cutting boards from her Cravings line while chopping up the ingredients. A night off cooking AND some casual product placement? We have no choice but to stan his love language as well. John also wrote a sweet caption saying in part: "I love this woman so much and I love taking care of her, especially while she’s growing our little baby. I’m so grateful for our love and our life together."
Happy anniversary, John and Chrissy! Now I'm off to cry and maybe order tapas for lunch...
