Chrissy Teigen has opened up about her decision to get sober after reading the self-help book, Quit Like a Woman: The Radical Choice to Not Drink in a Culture Obsessed with Alcohol, by Holly Whitaker.

After revealing in a comment on Instagram that she was 4 weeks sober, Teigen shared a photo of Whitaker's book and wrote in an Instagram Story, "One month ago, on my birthday, I got this book from my doctor and friend. I was done with making an ass of myself in front of people (I'm still embarrassed), tired of day drinking and feeling like shit by 6, not being able to sleep."

She continued, "I have been sober ever since and even if you can't see yourself doing it or just plain don't want to, it is still an incredible read."

The Cravings author also shared a tribute to her late son Jack on Instagram. Snuggling up to her daughter Luna, Teigen could be seen holding "origami for our jack," in tribute to the son she lost earlier this year.

In an Instagram post sharing the devastating news of her baby loss, Teigen wrote, "We never decide on our babies' names until the last possible moment after they're born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever."
