Chrissy Teigen Reveals She's Been Hospitalized Amid Pregnancy Bed Rest
Chrissy Teigen has been hospitalized for excessive bleeding during her pregnancy.
Chrissy said her baby is healthy and growing well, but that her placenta is weak and she's remaining on bed rest.
Chrissy Teigen revealed she has been hospitalized for bleeding during her pregnancy, updating followers on Instagram Stories about the news over the weekend.
"I was always, always bleeding. I'm about halfway through pregnancy and the blood has been going on for like a month," she explained, adding that "Every time I would go to the bathroom it would be blood, honestly just laying there would be blood... but today the big difference was that it was kind of like if you were to just turn a faucet on low and just leave it there.... It’s so weird because I feel really good. I’m usually at my happiest pregnant, mood-wise. And I feel happier than I do not pregnant. That’s why it’s so hard for me to come to terms with..… It was at the point today where it was just like never stopping bleeding. And that's obviously very bad."
Chrissy explained "in the simplest of terms" that her placenta is really weak, and asked followers who are doctors to stop trying to diagnose her. “If you are a doctor, I cannot express enough how badly I’d like you to stop your guessing games,” she said. “You have to trust me that I have very good doctors, who know what they’re doing. Who know the entire story. There’s so much more than you can ever ever imagine. I share a lot, but not absolutely everything, okay. So trust me when I say they know and I just want to keep things so simple for you guys.”

“In the simplest of terms, we can say my placenta is really, really weak,” she continued. “I feel really good. The baby is so healthy, growing stronger than Luna or Miles. He moves a lot. He moves so much earlier than they ever did…. he’s so different than they were. He’s so strong. I’m just so excited for him because he’s so wonderful, and just like the strongest little dude. And so I can't wait for him. But basically, he’s the strongest coolest dude in the shittiest house. His house is just falling apart. It didn’t have a good foundation to begin with.”
Chrissy explained that she'll continue strict bed rest, and that the situation is scary, but in a way “where there’s nothing to do.”
