Chrissy Teigen Revealed She Doesn’t Like Girl Scout Cookies And The Internet Is Losing Its Mind
We, like the rest of the internet, are typically on board with pretty much anything involving Chrissy Teigen. When she revealed she keeps hardboiled eggs nearby to eat in the middle of the night, we honestly considered trying it out. When she shared that she puts Lucky Charms marshmallows in hot chocolate, we wanted to give her an award. But Chrissy confused many people when she tweeted out a controversial take this week: She doesn't loooove Girl Scout Cookies!
Chrissy tweeted a photo of several types of Girl Scout cookies with the caption, "I did the ranking you’re all too scared to do." In the photo, she put five Girl Scout Cookies—S'mores, Tagalongs, Thin Mints (both in the freezer and not), and Samoas all in a row under a red frowning face, indicating that, well, they're bad!
If you haven't noticed, people go kind of bonkers for these cookies every year, so naturally the internet had lots to say about it—and many people were not pleased.
Oh wow, no, wrong

Others happened to be happy that she finally spoke her (and their) truth.

Chrissy did follow up by saying that she's "happy to support. HAPPY. but I’m not doing it for the cookie okay." She also made a concession, ranking them "if NO other cookies in the world existed," where she did my favorite cookie, Tagalongs, VERY dirty.

However, everyone is entitled to their cookie opinion! Even one Delish editor who shall remain nameless agreed with Chrissy! Thankfully, The Girl Scouts responded to Chrissy, letting her know there's no hard feelings and there are plenty of ways to support other than loving cookies.
"It’s okay, Chrissy. Girls still learn valuable skills and can make an impact in the community when you donate a box of cookies, too," they wrote.
I guess this just means more cookies for me! And I am FINE with that.
