The model was left speechless.

Chrissy Teigen became a talking point during a congressional hearing that took place today in Washington, D.C.

House Republicans are leading a hearing to investigate Twitter's alleged role in suppressing a New York Post story about President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, during the 2020 presidential election.

However, the model, 37, got roped into the hearing after Rep. Maxwell Frost shifted the conversation to discuss former President Donald Trump's involvement with the social media platform.

What got Teigen pulled into the hearing, you might ask? It was her 2019 tweet where she dissed Trump using some pretty vulgar language.

Frost had asked former Twitter content moderator Anika Collier Navaroli to read the tweet out loud, to which she uncomfortably asked, "would you like for me to give the direct quote?" Frost replied, "Yes."

"Please excuse my language–this is a direct quote, but Chrissy Teigen referred to Donald Trump as a 'p***y a*s b***h.'"

The mother of three shared the moment on her Instagram with the caption, "I don’t know how to go on after this."

Teigen also reacted to the news on Twitter, where she retweeted the video from the hearing and stated, "I…oh my god."

Frost replied to her tweet, stating, "chrissy…. tbh I had no idea what your tweet was when I asked the question, but I’ll always protect your free speech!"

TMZ
also caught up with Teigen and her husband, John Legend, 44, earlier today on the streets of Los Angeles, where they asked her how she felt about being brought up in Congress. "Amazing," she said while laughing with her hubby.

The paparazzi asked Teigen if it was "better than John winning an EGOT that her tweet got brought up in congress," to which she hilariously replied, "absolutely," as she smirked at Legend.

"The family is very proud," Legend added.

Congrats to Teigen on her big moment in U.S. history!
