Chrissy Teigen Was Psyched They “Let” Her Talk In Hilarious Super Bowl Ad With John Legend

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend grace us with their presence in a lot of ways. Teigen’s Instagram stories often feature the couple hanging out at home together, he gushes about her in interviews, and they share hilarious videos to the model’s YouTube channel offering a glimpse into their lives. But when they showed up on our TV screens in a Super Bowl commercial on Sunday night, it was even more thrilling than usual.

John and Chrissy starred in an ad for car maker Genesis. In it, they seem to be attending a going away party for “old luxury.” They’re both dressed to the nines (and honestly, I need to find out where Chrissy got her dress, though I’m sure I’ll never be able to afford it).

It’s worth watching the ad to see all the visual gags (Chrissy gestures to a man who “thinks his loud suit is a personality” which is definitely the funniest part), but the ad ends with Chrissy trying to make a grand exit but with John being a little bit delayed. In order to let her into the car, he makes her say “Sexiest. Man. Alive.” It’s all delightful, I’m telling you.

Thankfully, people seemed to get as big of a kick out of the commercial as I did.

Even Chrissy seemed psyched, and who could blame her? It’s a Super Bowl commercial!

“I HAVE A SUPERBOWL COMMERCIAL! John also in it but who cares I have most of it and he just makes faces!! They let me talk!!!!!!!” she tweeted.

So let this be a lesson to all brands: Put Chrissy in her commercials. And let the woman talk.
