Chrissy Teigen Once Had a ‘Meltdown’ on the Set of a John Legend Video
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend may seem like the perfect celebrity couple (and they clearly are), but even celebrities get jealous sometimes. And that’s what Teigen just admitted in a series of tweets Sunday night. Teigen opened up about the time she got incredibly jealous on the set of John Legend’s “Green Light” video, which came out 10 years ago.
“Fun fact, I had a jealously-fueled meltdown visiting this video set and made an asshole out of myself to a large group of people,” she wrote.

She went on to tell the story after piecing together the details with Legend.
Ok after a brief refresh with john, I have pieced together small bits of information

Apparently, many people on the set kept gushing over how pretty the love interest was in the video-and were clearly just doing it to get Teigen angry. And it worked.
...and they were! But in my mind they not only were talking about it, they were talking about it on purpose to rile me up. Looking back and knowing how well I know them now, THEY WERE DEFINITELY RILING ME UP AND GETTING A KICK OUT OF IT

I was watching the monitor with all the guys and someone, I can’t remember who, said, “ooooooo look at that girl with john ooooooooo!” so I watched the monitor like a psychotic (tarantula) hawk and in my mind, oh he was in trouble

Since Legend and Teigen met when she played, yup, his love interest in a music video, she had a little bit of a reason to be suspicious of on-set chemistry.
Keep in mind john and I met on a video. I was that girl! I know how this shit works!

So after they were laughing and chatting, Teigen couldn’t take it anymore, and stormed off the set, surprising just about everyone.
A few more shoulder touches and laughs with her later, I lost it. Anger turned to sobbing turned to fleeing the set and getting a hotel room. The director (ALAN FERGUSON!) was baffled. Everyone was.

What a boring story. Happy anniversary, Green Light video!!!

She had previously said “Green Light’ was one of her least favorite John Legend songs. In a response to a fan, she said the story might be part of why she doesn’t like it, but mostly she just finds the song “corny.” Fair enough, but also, Legend literally sings “Do I have a girlfriend?/ Technically, no,” so that may be part of the issue, too.
maybe subconsciously but mostly I just thought it was corny 😬😬 LOVE YOU JOHNNY!!!! https://t.co/03EkwIeXXB
