Chrissy Teigen shared a sweet mother-daughter moment on social media this week after experiencing the “hardest 4 days of my life,” proving a mother’s love can cure almost anything.

On November 24, the Cravings cookbook author posted a cozy photo on Instagram cuddling up to her mother, Vilailuck “Pepper Thai” Teigen, on the couch. Luna, her four-year-old daughter with husband John Legend, was also featured in the image.

As of right now, Teigen has yet to publicly share details about her difficult experience, though she plans to. “One day I will tell you the recent story of the hardest 4 days of my life,” she captioned the post. “For now, here’s me needing my mommy.”

The mother of two received well-wishes and support from fans and celebrity friends like Kate Hudson, Jenna Dewan, Paris Hilton, Lily Aldridge, and more in the comments section.

Thankfully, it looks as if Teigen is doing okay. A few hours later she shared another photo of herself posing in a fabulous outfit. “Something’s cominnnnnnn!” she teased fans.

These last few months have been an emotional time for Chrissy Teigen and her family. In September the Sports Illustrated model revealed that she suffered a pregnancy loss with her and Legend’s third child, Jack.

“We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital,” Teigen said in a statement. “But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever.”

She added, “To our Jack—I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you.”

In recent weeks Teigen has slowly made her way back to social media. She’s also released a raw and emotional essay about losing her child and has since honored little Jack by getting a tattoo of his name on her wrist.

“People say an experience like this creates a hole in your heart. A hole was certainly made, but it was filled with the love of something I loved so much. It doesn’t feel empty, this space. It feels full,” Teigen wrote in an essay for Medium this October. “Jack will always be loved, explained to our kids as existing in the wind and trees and the butterflies they see.”
