Following the loss of her son Jack, Chrissy Teigen has slowly made her way back to social media, and even posted an upbeat video dancing in a one-piece swimsuit. Some fans commented that they were happy to see her “smiling again” as she simply captioned the post “good morning!!!”

“She must be the most fun mom,” one person commented. “Mood after a fresh bikini wax,” another hilarious comment read. But after a fan jokingly said, “I need whatever drugs you’re on!” Teigen had a surprising reply: “4 weeks sober 💕🙏🏻💕🙏🏻💕🙏🏻.”

Teigen didn’t confirm in the comment exactly what substance she gave up or what inspired the decision. However, she has previously opened up about her relationship with alcohol in a 2017 interview with Cosmopolitan. Teigen admitted she was “just point-blank drinking too much” at the time.

“I got used to being in hair and makeup and having a glass of wine. Then that glass of wine would carry over into me having one before the awards show. And then a bunch at the awards show. And then I felt bad for making kind of an ass of myself to people that I really respected,” she said. “And that feeling, there’s just nothing like that. You feel horrible. It’s not a good look for me, for John, for anybody.”

Teigen also said that her family has a history of alcohol abuse, and she’s the type of person who “can’t just have one drink.”

“Nobody really brought it up to me,” she said. “They just assumed that it was OK because I always felt OK the next morning. I knew in my heart it wasn’t right. It makes you very short with people.”

The model admitted she thought it was “kind of nutty” to be sober. “But now I get it,” she said. “I don’t want to be that person … I have to fix myself.”

After a heartbreaking year, Teigen is learning to make peace with her body in multiple ways. In another Instagram post, she revealed she’ll never be pregnant again and is still dealing with the physical aftermath of her tragic pregnancy loss. She wrote: “Even though I’m no longer pregnant, every glance in the mirror reminds me of what could have been. And I have no idea why i still have this bump, honestly. It’s frustrating. But I’m proud of where this entire journey took my body and mind in other ways.”
