Chrissy Teigen Jokes That She’s ‘Free’ After President Biden Unfollows Her on Twitter

Chrissy Teigen's Twitter account never fails to amuse me. After asking to be unblocked by the official @POTUS Twitter account, she's now backtracking on her initial request. It seems like she figured out having the president of the United States potentially read your tweets is like having your grandma follow you, but much worse.  

“I have tweeted a handful of times since my treasured @POTUS following,” she tweeted yesterday. “In order for me to flourish as me, I must ask you to please lord unfollow me. I love you!!! It’s not you it’s me!!!!”

Whoever's running President Joe Biden's account must have seen Teigen's request because now Biden follows 12 people instead of 13. Teigen just gave up a pretty exclusive spot, if you ask me. Being followed by the president? That gives you some major bragging rights. But considering the topics that sometimes are discussed on her page, it's understandable why she wouldn't want the president to see.

After realizing that her request was granted, she tweeted, “bitch fuck shit suck the d I am FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!” With that response, it's probably for the best Biden doesn't follow her anymore. (LOL.)

Chrissy Teigen didn't waste any time asking the president to follow her initially. She tweeted on Inauguration Day that she'd like to finally be unblocked. “hello @joebiden I have been blocked by the president for four years can I get a follow plz,” she wrote.

After seeing some of her followers' replies, she joked that the tweet was “just a dumb joke” because she's a “loser,” which for the record, she definitely isn't! She also admitted that it'd be “a miracle” if the follow lasted for the duration of Biden's presidency. 

Who would have thought she'd be the one to end it? Be careful what you wish for, I guess!
