Chrissy Teigen Had a Surprise Baby Shower With 5 Legend-Themed Cakes

Chrissy Teigen, currently expecting Baby No. 2 with husband John Legend, had a surprise baby shower Friday night—and it came complete with not one but five Legend-themed cakes (yes, full advantage was taken of any and all pun opportunities here). The guest list was stacked too: Kim Kardashian and her husband, Kanye West, were in attendance, as well as momager extraordinaire Kris Jenner—and you can bet the entire thing was documented on social media.

Teigen, whose baby is due in June, was tracking the event in typical Teigen fashion ("Honestly what’s a baby shower if you don’t faintly hear a passionate discussion about North Korea while opening gifts," she tweeted), while the menu included Shake Shack and the multiple punny cakes, captured here on Teigen and Kardashian's Instagram Stories:

"A Legend in the making," read one cake.

"You're a legend," read another.

It looks like Legend also gave an impromptu concert, which Teigen and Kardashian both captured:

All in all, everyone looked like they had a fantastic time—even when politics popped into the discussion.

And honestly, at a party with Shake Shack, cakes, and this crowd, who wouldn't?

This new arrival will be little brother to 2-year-old sister Luna—who might need a minute to take it all in, it seems.

“I don’t think Luna has a concept of exactly what it means to have a little sibling yet,” Legend told People. “She’ll figure it out sooner or later, and she’ll probably have some moments where she regrets it! But we’re excited.”
