Chrissy Teigen looked elegant in her ethereal gown last evening.

The Cravings cookbook author, 37, stepped out in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, April 29, when she attended the White House Correspondent's Dinner held at the Washington Hilton, and she looked as graceful as ever.

Teigen donned a sheer white gown that featured a plunging neckline and a high slit on her leg for the occasion. The ensemble also incorporated a bedazzled corset bustier that was adorned with crystals throughout. She paired the dress with silver sandals, sparkling drop earrings, diamond rings, and a silver clutch that tied the look together.

As for her glam, she rocked her short brown locks parted down the middle in loose waves with a minimal makeup look.

Teigen was joined by her husband, John Legend, who donned a solid black tuxedo, pairing his look with black dress shoes and a bow tie.

The model's outing comes shortly after she was bedridden from a sickness she caught on a Disney Cruise with Legend and their three kids, Luna, 6, Miles, 4, and 3-month-old Esti.

Teigen took to Twitter on April 21 to express how sick she was feeling in a series of tweets, writing, "leaving a disney cruise is like leaving Las Vegas except you only feeeeeel like you binged drugs, and, you are wet."

"I have never been more sore, I’m coughing up…something, the bottoms of my feet are roasted rotisserie, I just got phone service and I still feel like we are rocking. currently leaving from Melbourne, Florida, which actually has the cutest little airport I ever did see," she wrote, adding, "4 days ago feels like…so long ago. our kids must never EVER forget we did this for them. Solidarity to all the other Disney cruise parents."

However, two days ago she shared an Instagram post of her laying on the couch alongside her 3-month-old when she gave fans an update on her health, stating that she was feeling better.

"I don’t think I’ve ever felt so full-body sick. This week kicked my a** but I am onnn the mend!!" she wrote, jokingly adding, "Also please no jokes about if I caught long toe disease or something please, I know they’re long, they’re to climb banana trees."

We're glad to see she's out and about and feeling back to herself!
