Chrissy Teigen Claps Back at a Troll Who Tells Her to “Cover Up” Around Her Daughter
The internet has proved it a million times: Don’t come for Chrissy Teigen on social media. But apparently people haven’t been listening, because Chrissy—a.k.a. Queen of sassy clap back comments—just had to shut down another troll on Instagram.
The interaction ensued after Chrissy shared a sweet photo with her daughter Luna. In the picture, Luna is adjusting her jacket, so Chrissy captioned the post, “on set with my stylist.” And truly, it’s an adorable moment:

While the photo was met with a ton of positive responses, one follower, of course, decided to leave a rude comment on Chrissy’s post: “Jesus cover up your daughter is right there.”
Obviously, Chrissy wasn’t here for the troll’s unsolicited take on her parenting skills, and replied, pointing out, “she sucked it for months and doesn’t mind it much.”
The good people at @commentsbycelebs also pointed out that the troll’s Insta profile pic is now the picture that they were criticizing. (Cue major eye roll.)

Other commenters clearly saw things go down and came to Chrissy’s defense. One follower wrote: “I don’t understand why people are so freaked out that you aren’t covered up around your daughter. When I was young I remember my mom would shower with me and I still remember what her body looked like. I just saw her as my mom and as I grew older, I was comfortable with my changing body because of how much it looked like my mom’s. I’m thankful we were close because one day when she is old I will bathe her and care for her.”
Another added that it was actually a great way to show her daughter confidence. “A woman teaching her daughter to be comfortable in her own skin. Rather than hiding herself away in shame is a beautiful thing.”
We agree. So, can we all please just let Chrissy live now?
