Chrissy Teigen Asked President Joe Biden To Unfollow Her So She Could Tweet Like Herself Again

Be careful what you wish for!! Chrissy Teigen recently made headlines when she became the only person who wasn't a member of President Joe Biden's team to get a follow by the official @POTUS account. Though she seemed pretty happy about that feat at the time, Chrissy recently said she realized that the follow was a blessing and a curse and asked the POTUS account to unfollow her.

In a tweet Tuesday, Chrissy said that she's only tweeted a few times since the follow from @POTUS, which is totally unlike her, and that in order to "flourish" as her normal self on Twitter, she'd need the POTUS account to "please lord unfollow me."

She ended the Tweet by assuring the Biden team that there was no love lost, and it seems like she was quick to get her wish. Within about two hours, she tweeted a bunch of curse words (classic Chrissy!) before adding "I am FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!" In case there was any doubt about what she was referring to, she followed up with an Instagram showing her original plea and then the POTUS account following her and then unfollowing her. "a breakup story 😭 need some Ben and Jerry’s," she captioned it.

So far, Chrissy has already tweeted a bit since her POTUS unfollow, but besides the celebratory tweet about her lost follower, she's only tweeted one other time...and that was to get opinions on the new Popeyes Cajun Flounder sandwich. As always, a gal after our very own hearts.
