Chrissy Teigen is looking fitter than ever in a brand new Instagram post.
In the snap, the 36-year-old cookbook author showed off her soap-making skills while rocking a white sports bra. And damn, her washboard abs look totally toned!
To stay in such great shape, Chrissy does high-intensity, dance-based workouts with Simone De La Rue—in addition to yoga and Pilates.
Chrissy Teigen is an accomplished model, entrepreneur, and momma...and now you can add "soap maker" to her resume. In a new Instagram video, the 36-year-old cookbook author showed off her soap-making skills while rocking a white sports bra and a pair of chic high-waisted sweatpants.
"I bought a soap-making kit and it’s like, too easy? I didn’t wanna just melt a block and then pour it into another block! I wanna learn marbling and shit! Anyhow, I could still use some tips like how to stop the tiny bubbles and what else to melt to make it better! Lmk 🤞," she captioned the short clip.
Naturally, many of her followers totally wanted in on the soap making and offered her tips: "Spray alcohol on the top to get rid of bubbles ❤️," one commented. "Add Lavender seeds for a natural exfoliant," another added.
Candle-making may be Chrissy's new hobby. But another one she's been doing for years is Simone De La Rue's dance-based classes, which Chrissy has been attending for years to get her sweat on. "Chrissy Teigen I've been with for three or four years," Simone told Business Insider. "We do more laughing than working out, to be honest. She's a hilarious person and I like having a giggle with her."
De La Rue's high-intensity classes look a little something like this:
Beyond De La Rue's classes, Chrissy likes to do yoga and Pilates. "I do love yoga and Pilates now but the balance in it is really nice because it's nice to be able to kill two birds by playing with my kids and getting that activity in honestly. To me that's more fun," she told People. "John is different, he's the kind of guy who can go to the gym at like 6, 7 in the morning every single day no matter what but me, no, I try to have fun with it."
Chrissy also shared with Kelly Clarkson that to get her core toned, she uses EMS (a.k.a electrical muscle stimulation). According to Scientific American, it's a technology that activates your muscles and makes them contract while you work out. Supposedly, it activates 90 percent of the body’s muscles in 20 minutes and simulates an hours-long workout.
As for her nutrition, Chrissy is a master home cook and loves to make meals (from scratch) for her family and friends. She's also mentioned that she's completely done with dieting and diet culture. "It's more important for me to enjoy things as they come. I put my mind and spirit over body. If it's going to make me happy and make me feel good, then I indulge in it," she told People. "I've spent too many years counting calories and scheduling way too many workouts and trying to figure out what my term for wellness was for myself. Now I know it's on the ground playing with my kids or going to a park or an aquarium."
