Chrissy Summons Brown Bananas From Twitter

In case you missed it, Chrissy Teigen made banana bread on Thursday. But it wasn’t just any ordinary weekday banana bread. Nope. There was excitement. Drama. An offering of John Legend’s underwear! And it was all thanks to Chrissy’s request for “6 BROWN bananas in the LA area,” the only ingredient missing from her pantry.

First, she issued the general call out.

Then she upped the ante, promising to reward the would-be banana angel with a signed copy of Cravings, her husband’s undies (not autographed), and makeup.

She wasn’t playing.

It took no time for the offers to roll in.

One person lived “too farrrrrr.”

And one person was Ruby Rose, but somehow Chrissy didn’t see her tweet in time.

But it didn’t take long for Chrissy to find those bananas!

She then sent her “assistant,” aka her lovely mother Vilailuk, to make the trade.

In the middle of all that, Chrissy took the time to acknowledge Kermit the Frog's sassiness in the other Chrissy Teigen Twitter moment of the week.

Then she started making the bread but just when things started looking up, Chrissy realized she was one banana short, because you know, not all bananas are the same size. (Let this be a lesson to all the aspiring banana bread makers out there.)

In a matter of moments, Chrissy’s mom was back on the road for another banana deal.
