When the cast members of Netflix’s Selling Sunset gathered for their first reunion special last season, Chrishell Stause took the opportunity to confirm some big personal news about the new love in her life, Australian singer G Flip.

“I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me, their name is G Flip,” Chrishell explained. “They’re non-binary so they go by they/them. And they are an extremely talented musician. And it started because, you know, I was just going to be in their video. It’s about this chaotic love story. And, you know, I come from soaps, I love acting, and with the job that we have, I don’t always get to do it. And so at first, of course I was like, ‘Yes, let’s do that.’”

Like Chrishell’s Selling Sunset castmates, you’re no doubt happy for her happiness (and her wedding—more on that in a bit…), but if you’re also feeling in need of more intel about all things G Flip, allow us to save you a little googling. Scroll down for everything you need to know about the 29-year-old singer.

G Flip’s real name is Georgia Claire Flipo.

Let’s start with the most basic fact, G Flip’s name. While G Flip is a v catchy stage name, obviously, the singer’s real name is Georgia Claire Flipo and they were raised in Melbourne, Australia.

G Flip identifies as non-binary.

As Chrishell explained when she confirmed the new relationship during the Selling Sunset reunion, G Flip identifies as non-binary and their pronouns are they/them. In April, G Flip shared the way they described what it feels like to be non-binary when asked about it on a kids’ show.

“If strawberries were girls and blueberries were boys and you put them in a blender, you’d get a gender smoothie,” they wrote in a tweet that they also shared as a post on Instagram. “I am a gender smoothie.”

G Flip pointed out in the caption of their Instagram post that they aren’t trying to speak for every non-binary person with their response, writing, “For every non-binary person, it is different. Personally I feel like a gender smoothie tho. 🙂🌈”

Coming out as non-binary was a big moment for G Flip, who talked openly about their struggles with sexual and gender identity in an interview with NME in February.

“I struggled with my sexual and gender identity for years because there wasn’t anyone that I felt could relate to me,” they explained. “I wish I had a non-binary, gay, lead-singing drummer to watch—it would’ve calmed the dark, confused voices in my head that told me I didn’t belong anywhere as my authentic self.”

G Flip is a talented musician who plays *multiple* instruments.

G Flip plays several instruments, including guitar, bass, and piano, but they are best known, instrumentally speaking, for their skills as a drummer.

They revealed in an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation that they’ve been drumming since they were just 9 years old and it was important to incorporate the instrument prominently in their sound from the start of their solo career (before going solo, G Flip was the dummer in the band Empra).

“I always thought that if I’m going to come into this music world as a chick drumming, then I want the first thing I do on the drums to be a little bit of a solo…it just felt right that that would be the first song,” they said of their debut single, “About You,” which was released in 2018.

G Flip’s debut album was inspired by a “big roller coaster of a relationship.”

There’s a good chance that elements of G Flip’s relationship with Chrishell will make it into future songs, if they haven’t already, because they’re an artist who puts their personal life into their songs.

“All my song lyrics come from my own experiences. I’m very much just saying how it is,” G Flip told Pedestrian.TV in 2020.

In fact, G Flip said their first album was inspired by a romance that was a “big roller coaster of a relationship.”

“My album About Us was called that because it was literally about this one relationship I was in, and all the songs kind of told that story from when we were broken up to getting back together,” they explained.

G Flip also dabbles in design.

In addition to being a talented and successful musician, G Flip has released two G Flip x Crocs collections. In 2020, they said that they had pretty much manifested the collaboration with the shoe brand.

“This is something I’ve been working towards and pushing towards for years and I’m so excited to finally have a custom G Flip x Crocs design to share with you all,” G Flip gushed of the first collab, according to Australian site Fashion Journal.

After that first collection sold out in less than an hour (!!!), Crocs teamed up with G Flip again in 2021 for a second collaboration.

“Crocs and I have had an incredible journey together so far and now it continues with another G Flip x Crocs collaboration,” G Flip said of working with the brand. “I’ve had this design in my head ever since I started wearing Crocs, so it’s a dream come true to see it in real life. They’re comfy, they’re easy on the eyes, and they make dreams come true, especially mine.”

G Flip and Chrishell are MARRIED!!!

Yep, and Chrishell herself shared the exciting news via an Instagram Reel that featured video snippets of her and G Flip spending tons of time together.

“Love doesn’t always go as planned…sometimes it’s immeasurably better,” the Selling Sunset star captioned the Reel, which finished with an epic photo of the couple married at the end.

Tons of Chrishell’s castmates, from Emma Hernan and Maya Vander to Chelsea Lazkani, celebrated the amazing news on social media, and the realtor’s ex Jason Oppenheim even chimed in, writing, “I am so excited for this!! You and G are the most inspiring couple and the affection between you both is so pure. I love you two tons and am so lucky to have you both in my life.”
