Chrishell Stause Calls Out People's Choice Awards for Not Letting Her Bring Partner G Flip

The 'Selling Sunset' star questioned the PCAs decisions in a series of angry tweets.

Chrishell Stause has a major bone to pick with the People's Choice Awards. 

The Selling Sunset realtor—who went solo to the event on Tuesday, Dec. 6—revealed after the show that she wasn't going stag by choice, and that the PCA show runners actually refused to let her bring her parter, G Flip. 

Stause, 41, took to Twitter after the show to express her frustration over the plus one drama, admitting that she had been drinking and was ready to say how she really feels. 

"I am on the sauce a bit so I will prob regret this later. BUT people's choice didn't allow me to bring my partner to the awards," she wrote in the first of a series of angry tweets. "I could ONLY bring a plus 1 if it was a cast member. Wtf." 

"Sure this means I will never be nominated again but honestly fu," the TV personality—who was nominated for The Reality TV Star of 2022—added in her initial tweet. 

"EVERY single case [sic[] member [was] invited and some had plus ones," she wrote in a follow-up post. "I was nominated for best realty [sic] and yet they said NO. Again fu." 

In addition to her personal nomination, the reality star's popular Netflix series, Selling Sunset, featuring Heather Rae El Moussa, Christine Quinn and more, was also up for The Reality Show of 2022. 

"I didn't know till I got there that everyone was invited. So wtf was the issue?!" she added in her next post. 

G Flip—who came out as nonbinary in 2021—wasn't able to make the show anyways, but Stause says it's the principal of the matter that still rubs her the wrong way. 

"G isn't in the country so ended up not being able to go anyway but we only realized that recently," Stause's next tweet read. "Up until a few days ago I was fighting to get them in and only to see everyone invited. Gtfoh." 

She also added another tweet featuring a GIF that reads "What was the reason?!" while tagging the account for the People's Choice Awards. 

In response to a fan who called the situation "bizarre," Stause insisted that it was strange for her to not be given a plus one considering she was individually nominated from the cast. 

"I just really hate bulls—t," she added. "Clearly what I was told was not the reason and no one tried to clear it up. I love the idea of the "people's choice" but this Hollywood game is f—ked." 

Stause ended her rant with one final message, writing: "I get it—there are WAY bigger issues. But these are the things people normally don't say out loud unless they have multiple correspondence receipts and have had one too many tequilas and dgaf." 

People's Choice has yet to issue a public response to Stause's comments.
