Chris Rock has had an ~interesting~ year, what with Slapgate and all, but apparently it hasn’t all been bad. News just broke that he’s been dating Harley Quinn star Lake Bell. And that little tidbit of information is totally rocking the internet.
You might remember that Chris used to be married to Malaak Compton-Rock (they divorced in 2016) and Lake used to be married to Scott Campbell (they split in 2020). Well, it seems both divorcees have moved on, and they've been spotted spending time together. "They have been dating for a few weeks," a source close to Lake told E! News. "He is on tour still but they have been on a few dates when he is in L.A. It's not serious but she is having fun."

June 2022: Lake and Chris were spotted at a Cardinals game
The two were first spotted in public together at a Cardinals game in June. And while they weren’t holding hands or anything, TMZ says that they stayed close, stood together for most of the game, and watched from box seats at the stadium. Nothing like a little baseball game for a first public date.
Right now, it's unclear how these two met each other, but let's just chalk it up to that small town feel Hollywood can have.
July 4 weekend, 2022: The two dined out together.
Chris and Lake were spotted grabbing a bite to eat twice over the holiday weekend—like a date, meaning just the two of them—with TMZ declaring it their "coming out" moment as a couple.
The two were photographed by paparazzi at the Giorgio Baldi restaurant together in Santa Monica, CA, and then at the Coast Restaurant in the same area.
“Chris has been in a really good mood” since he started “dating and spending his downtime with Lake Bell," a source told Us Weekly a few days later.
July 2022: They took a vacation together
Chris and Lake were spotted together again, this time on a yacht in Korcula, Croatia. In photos obtained by Page Six, you can see Chris and Lake walking arm in arm. Lake also put her arm around Chris at one point while talking on the phone.
A source told Us Weekly that Chris and Lake “both just laugh a lot when they’re together,” adding, “They have similar personalities.”
