Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger got married on Saturday, and Pratt called the ceremony "the best day of his life" on Instagram. This may be due to the fact that besides having a beautiful wedding in California, he also got to let out any pre-wedding jitters he might have had when he went golfing with his good friend and former Parks & Recreation costar Rob Lowe.

As TMZ reports, Pratt went golfing with Lowe and some friends on Saturday morning in Santa Barbara, just hours before we walked down the aisle with Schwarzenegger. The group joked around and took a bunch of #squad selfies together, which you can see here.

Later, when Pratt posted a wedding photo on Instagram, Lowe commented, "Love you two so much!"

While this may seem like a weird thing to do the morning of your wedding, Golf Digest wants to assure you that "golf is a good release for pre-nuptial nerves, and corralling the wedding party for a morning round is also a sneaky way to get everyone on site hours before the ceremony begins." The site also suggests that you make sure your spouse is ok with your golfing plan (duh), and you should invite family members from both sides of the family.

The wedding planning site The Knot also had a discussion about playing golf before your wedding starts, and most of the women on the forum said it was fine, with one commentator saying that her brother-in-law played a couple holes before his nuptials, and he told her it was "the best thing for him" because it got his mind off the wedding.

The Knot user megk8oz also added that her husband "spent the morning of the wedding playing D&D with his 2 best friends," which is probably the coolest way to enter your new life as Mr. and Mrs.
