Chris Pratt Announces His Engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are engaged.

The Guardians of the Galaxy actor announced the news on Instagram this morning. "Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go," he wrote.

The news comes a day after Pratt helped Schwarzenegger move out of her home—a feat which he also documented on social media.

They were first linked as a couple this summer when paparazzi spotted them enjoying a picnic in Santa Barbara. Since then, they've been captured on many dates in Los Angeles (sometimes with Pratt's young son, Jack, in tow.) This December, Pratt made their relationship insta-official when he posted a photo montage for Schwarzenegger's birthday. "Happy Birthday Chief! Your smile lights up the room. I’ve cherished our time together. Thrilled God put you in my life. Thankful for the laughs, kisses, talks, hikes, love and care," he said.

It will be the second marriage for Pratt, who announced his separation from actress Anna Faris in August of 2017.
