As the MCU's God of Thunder, Chris Hemsworth has faced Frost Giants, Mad Titans, the Incredible Hulk, and even the God of Death (not to mention his incredibly tricksy brother Loki). But it looks like he might have finally met his match.

In the actor's latest Instagram update of his intense training regime for the upcoming superhero sequel Thor: Love and Thunder, Hemsworth squares off against his most formidable opponent yet: his 7-year-old son.

"Introducing the next heavy weight champion of the universe," he wrote in the caption for the video, which depicts him and his son performing some sparring drills, complete with lustrous Thor wig and red cape. Although it isn't entirely clear which son this is: Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, have identical twin boys named Tristan and Sasha.

This isn't the first boxing video Hemsworth has shared with his followers. Four months ago, he showed off his speedwork and jabs while laying into his trainer Luke Zocchi. The actor has been training more intensely than ever before in his career over the last year, in a bid to transform his body and develop as much strength and size as possible in order to believably portray the infamous pro wrestler Hulk Hogan in a new biopic.

This transformation has been most visible in Hemsworth's jacked biceps, which went viral in a tire-flipping photo earlier this year. These results have notably caused some issues with his stunt double, Bobby Holland Hanton, who joked that he is struggling to keep up with Hemsworth's gains.
