We all have days when we just don't quite feel like we have the energy or the drive to commit to our workout routine—even the God of Thunder struggles with motivation from time to time. In a Instagram video which he posted on Sunday, Thor star Chris Hemsworth shared how he woke up feeling a little "flat" and "dusty" after a heavy Saturday night, with his motivation levels at an "all-time low".

While the temptation to simply skip the gym that day often looms when you're not at your best, Hemsworth advised pushing through that fatigue and leaning into exercise as a way of boosting your energy levels, explaining that this is what he does in order to both feel better and stay on track with his fitness goals.

"If you're feeling flat, just get moving," he said. "Movement creates motivation." He elaborated on this perspective in the caption, stating his belief that adding exercise to your daily routine will "add a big ol smile on your dial" as well as improving "every aspect of your life," including "more energy, better sleep, mood elevation, reduce feelings of anxiety and depression, [and] protect against many chronic diseases."

The video goes on to include a brief montage of his training session that day, a CrossFit-inspired circuit workout that included ball slams, lunges, sit-throughs, sprint work, bear crawls, chinups, pushups, and battle ropes.

Hemsworth has upped the intensity of his workouts over the last year, packing on more muscle to his already jacked physique (and growing some seriously godlike arms) in order to be able to convincingly play Hulk Hogan in an upcoming biopic of the wrestler. This also means he will be even swoler than before when we see him reprise the roles of Thor in the Marvel sequel Thor: Love and Thunder and Tyler Rake in Extraction 2.
