Chris Hemsworth Completely Sold His ‘Extraction’ Co-Star on a Fake ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Spoiler
Marvel definitely doesn't have to worry about Chris Hemsworth revealing any spoilers.
While Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo are notorious for accidentally leaking top-secret information about the Marvel Cinematic Universe, their Avengers: Endgame counterpart goes to extreme lengths to keep spoilers secret.
Rudraksh Jaiswal—who stars with Hemsworth in the Netflix action thriller Extraction—has revealed to Koimoi that Hemsworth played a months-long joke on him when he begged for some inside information about Avengers: Endgame.
"When we were shooting in Bangkok, during Christmas 2018, we were shooting the last scene before going for holidays," Jaiswal remembered. "I tried to take out some spoilers for Avengers: Endgame. I asked him how is Thor in it? What will happen with Captain America and Iron Man?
"Will there be a new character? But I was unsuccessful. Chris said, 'I'm not going to tell you, Roody. You have to watch the film'."
Hemsworth went so far as to lie about a completely bizarre spoiler regarding Spider-Man and Ant-Man to throw off Rudraksh.
"I told him to give me one spoiler and he gave me fake spoilers to confuse me so that I don't ask him again," the actor said.
"He told me that Spider-Man will turn into Ant-Man. I asked him how is this possible and he said you have to watch the movie for that!"
Needless to say, there was no combining of Spider-Man and Ant-Man in the film—although fans did come up with an idea for Ant-Man to go inside one of the other Endgame characters.
