The Marvel actor and his sons improvised on land when the ocean was too flat to surf.

Chris Hemsworth and his family—wife Elsa Pataky and their three kids—are known for being super active, especially when they are all together at their home in Australia.

The actor proved this once again with a new video in which he skateboards alongside one of his sons on a street surrounded by palm trees.

In the clip, which Hemsworth shared on his Instagram, the 39-year-old follows one of his twin sons, Tristan or Sasha, on skateboards, imitating the types of moves they do while surfing.

Hemsworth captioned the post, "Surf went flat, no problem, the boys found some palm tree barrels and spent the day getting shacked."

In case you aren't up on all the surfing lingo, "shacked" means riding through a barrel, or when the ocean wave curls over to make a tunnel.

While the family couldn't ride a barrel in the water that day, they made do with palm tree leaves on the street instead.

Torre Washington, a bodybuilder who Hemsworth worked with on the Centr health and fitness app, commented on the video, "So cool," while a fan wrote, "Shred and spend time with those kids and family and don’t let anyone make you feel bad for doing it! 🤙🏼."

Currently, Hemsworth is celebrating the release of his new Disney+ and National Geographic docuseries, Limitless with Chris Hemsworth, which premiered on Nov. 16.

In the series, Hemsworth takes on physical challenges to discover the full potential of the human body to fight aging and promote regenerative health, among other things.

Hemsworth also opens up about finding out that he has two copies of the gene APOE4, which means he has an increased risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease, and how that led him to change his life for the better.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, he said, "For me, the positive of it was like, 'Right, if I didn't know this [Alzheimer's] information, I wouldn't have made the changes I made.' I just wasn't aware of any of it, so now I feel thankful that I have in my arsenal the sort of tools to best prepare myself and prevent things happening in that way."
