Chris Hemsworth recently shared the food and exercise routine he underwent for Thor: Love and Thunder, and we're exhausted just watching him pump ridiculous amounts of iron and crush thousands of calories.
According to the 38-year-old actor and father of three, he took part in a specialized program with Centr, an app that lets you "Transform your health, fitness and mindset with Chris Hemsworth’s team of world-class experts in one easy-to-use program."
"It was time to take Thor from Dad bod to God Bod. And thanks to my team @centrfit we were able to achieve those results with a specialized program," Hemsworth wrote in the caption to an Instagram video that offered a glimpse into his routine.
At one point in the video, Hemsworth's trainer joked, "It's been like training a thoroughbred horse."
In addition to hitting the gym for an assortment of gravity-defying, weight-lifting exercises, the star also consumed 10 meals daily for a total of about 4,500 calories every day. "The way I go about it is, eat til you feel sick," Hemsworth said.
In a video Centr shared several months ago, the actor's personal trainer, Luke Zocchi, offered some insight into what a typical day of eating to become Thor looked like.
"He's a big fan of steak. So, steak, some good carbs a la brown rice, sweet potatoes," said Zocchi. "If we weren't so organized, he'd definitely have a protein shake... A go-to shake he likes to do is a banana, two dates, almond milk, and a scoop of protein."
