Chris Harrison Says 'Bachelor' Peter And His Producer Have An 'Intimate Relationship'

• Of course, he was trolling fans after theories emerged that the two end up together.

• Chris also added, "Sometimes those lines get blurred."

It’s got to be tough to be Bachelor host Chris Harrison. Every season, you have to sit back and watch Bachelor fans lose their collective minds trying to figure out who won, while you know damn well how things turn out and have to keep the news to yourself. Just kidding—it's pretty clear he totally loves having alllll the piping hot tea and not spilling it a drop of it.

Well, Chris just went on Access, and it seems like he totally trolled fans over a finale conspiracy theory that Bachelor star Peter Weber ends up with his producer, Julie LaPlaca. Chris actually posted a pic of himself, Peter, Julie, and another Bachelor staffer on Instagram earlier this week, and he said a little more about it in the interview.

“Actually, I didn’t mean to do anything other than the fact that we spend a lot time together, we travel the world together,” Chris said of the pic. “Julie, an amazing, talented, smart producer that works for us—works on the show, so she’s with Peter.”

And then he totally tried to mess with Bachelor Nation. “It’s an intimate relationship,” Chris said, of Bachelor stars and the production staff. “You spend that much time together we all get close. Sometimes those lines get blurred.” (Hmmmm...)

“The only rules are, Peter needs to have the best opportunities to find love. If something were to mess that up, then we would step in. We would help,” he added.

While the fan theory is definitely juicy, ABC executive Robert Mills downplayed it in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in February.

“Well, I hate to get in the way of a good rumor, so I’m not going to confirm or deny about whether he ends up with a producer!” Mills said. “I don’t know how we’d ever top that though! But, it is crazy.”

Here's hoping Chris got a good laugh out of his comments, because the rest of the not-so-patiently waiting fans don't think it's funny.
