Chris Evans and Alba Baptista are enjoying their lives as newlyweds.

The Captain America actor has confirmed his marriage to his longtime girlfriend while opening up about their nuptials for the first time. The star's gold wedding band was in full view during his panel appearance yesterday at New York Comic-Con, where he revealed to the crowd at NYC's Javitz Center that he and Alba held two ceremonies, one in Massachusetts and one in the actress's native Portugal.

“I got married,” Chris said. “It was really, really great. We kinda had two ceremonies. We had one on the East Coast. We did one in Portugal. My wife’s Portuguese. Yeah, go Portugal!”

He went on to say of the two events, “They were wonderful and beautiful. It’s a lot planning a wedding. For those you who are married, it takes a lot out of you...Now that we’re through that, we’ve just kinda been enjoying life, gearing up for autumn, my favorite season. It’s, like, the best time of year right now. Now we’re just relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting.”

Page Six reported last month that the couple, who have been dating since 2021, had tied the knot in a private, intimate ceremony at their Boston-area home. A source told the outlet that the “beautiful” event was “locked down tight,” with guests signing NDAs and forfeiting their phones.

Though the duo have kept most of their relationship private, Chris has shared rare glimpses into their romance in PDA-filled posts on his Instagram. The Pain Hustlers star also talked about wanting to start his own family with the right person in an interview with People last year.

“That’s absolutely something I want,” he said at the time. “Wife, kids, building a family. When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships, the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared. So it’s also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important. I love the idea of tradition and ceremony, I had a lot of that in my life so the idea of creating that, I can’t think of anything better.”
