Who Is Chris from 'Claim to Fame' Related To?: An Investigation
Step aside Sherlock Holmes! This season, I will be doing my darnedest to figure out the secret identities of the Claim to Fame contestants. The show's premise is simple enough: 12 contestants enter a Hollywood mansion, each is related to an A-list celebrity. The person who can keep their relative's identity a secret for the longest wins!

As I'm watching along each week, I'll be attempting to piece together the clues and determine the relative of each contestant, cataloging the information we learn along the way. Spoilers for all episodes that have aired. Here's everything we have learned about Chris and my predictions:
Who is Chris' Claim to Fame celebrity relative?

Episode 1 clues
Two Truths and a Lie:
Relative: Uncle
Occupation: Musician (Truth)
Award: Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
In the episode, Chris tells us that he IS related to a male singer and that he looks a lot like him as he performs at the talent show. That's really the only information we have to go on, but that does mean that either his relative is not an uncle and is rather a brother/dad (which feels like a weird lie), or has an award aside from the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star (which also feels like a weird lie, especially if the biggest award is a Grammy).

John Mayer
The only name we've heard thrown around so far for Chris is John Mayer, which could be an option.

After just one week, I'm a little bamboozled by the choice here about a potential Grammy-win for a musician, which is so obvious, which makes me think the uncle piece must be the lie. If that's the case, Chris' relative is probably a brother because that would put the options in a different age bracket. John Mayer, Michael Buble and Justin Timberlake all feel like viable options, but we don't have too much information to go off of.
Claim to Fame airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
